The lone tree at Doughton Park on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Mountains to the Sea Trail goes right by it. Its at the summit with an almost 360 degree view.. People get married under the tree, people have reunions, spread ashes and some just seek the spot to spend time to rejuvenate themselves. I was hiking up to spend some time and saw these awesome contrails emanating from the tree. Some might believe there is a spiritual significance to this photo.
